Do I need to know how to code?
Not for the first eight lessons. The Liquid and custom section lessons are easier if you know basic HTML and CSS, which the free courses on this site cover.

Yes, Shopify is a paid platform with a monthly plan. You can build the whole store on a free trial and only pay when you’re ready to sell. Prices and trial offers change, so check shopify.com for the current details.
Can I follow along without my own store?
Yes. Start a free trial, or if you’re a freelancer, create a free development store through a Shopify Partner account.
