Before you start

Do I need drawing skills?

No. UI design is about layout, hierarchy and clarity, not illustration. Practice matters far more than talent.

Is Figma free?

Figma has a free plan that’s enough for this whole course. Paid plans add features for teams and developer handoff. Check figma.com/pricing for current plans.

Do I need to know code?

No. Knowing basic HTML and CSS helps you design things that are practical to build, and the free courses on this site cover them.

What will I build?

A landing page design for desktop and mobile with a small design system and a clickable prototype you can share with clients.
