Before you start
Do I need to know HTML and CSS?
It helps a lot. Webflow is a visual way of writing HTML and CSS, so concepts like the box model, flexbox and classes appear everywhere. The free HTML and CSS courses on this site cover them.
Is Webflow free?
You can design and publish to a free webflow.io address on the starter level. A paid site plan is needed for a custom domain, more CMS items and other features. Check webflow.com/pricing for current plans.
Webflow or Framer?
Framer is quicker for animated landing pages. Webflow offers deeper control over structure, classes and CMS, which suits larger sites and agencies.
What will I build?
A complete agency website with a home page, services, a CMS-powered case studies section, a blog, a contact form, SEO and a custom domain.
